Creating Forms
Create professional forms in minutes using Rytinco’s visual form builder. This guide walks you through the entire process from start to finish.
Before You Begin
Section titled “Before You Begin”Plan Requirements
Section titled “Plan Requirements”Ensure you have available form quota on your plan:

What You’ll Need
Section titled “What You’ll Need”- Clear purpose for your form
- List of questions/information to collect
- Your brand colors and logo (optional)
Step 1: Create a New Form
Section titled “Step 1: Create a New Form”Starting the Process
Section titled “Starting the Process”- Navigate to Forms in your dashboard
- Click “Create Form” button
- Choose a template or start from scratch
- Name your form (e.g., “Customer Feedback Survey”)
- Add a description (optional but helpful)
Form Templates
Section titled “Form Templates”Rytinco provides templates for common use cases:
- Contact Form - Name, email, message fields
- Event Registration - Attendee information
- Feedback Survey - Rating and comment fields
- Newsletter Signup - Email capture
- Blank Form - Start from scratch
Step 2: Add Fields
Section titled “Step 2: Add Fields”Drag-and-Drop Builder
Section titled “Drag-and-Drop Builder”The form builder uses a simple drag-and-drop interface:
- Drag field types from the sidebar
- Drop them into your form
- Reorder by dragging fields up or down
- Configure each field by clicking on it
Configuring Fields
Section titled “Configuring Fields”Each field has these settings:
Basic Settings:
- Title - The question or label
- Description - Helpful context or instructions
- Required - Make the field mandatory
Advanced Settings:
- Placeholder - Hint text inside the field
- Default Value - Pre-filled value
- Validation Rules - Custom validation (email format, etc.)
Field-Specific Options
Section titled “Field-Specific Options”Choice Fields (Radio, Checkbox, Dropdown):
- Add/remove options
- Reorder options by dragging
- Set default selections
- Allow “Other” option with text field
Rating Field:
- Choose scale (1-5 or 1-10)
- Set labels (e.g., “Poor” to “Excellent”)
- Select star or number display
Step 3: Customize Design
Section titled “Step 3: Customize Design”Theme Settings
Section titled “Theme Settings”Customize your form’s appearance:
Colors:
- Primary Color - Buttons, highlights
- Background Color - Form background
- Question Color - Text color for questions
- Description Color - Help text color
Typography:
- Font Family - Choose from available fonts
- Question Number Color - Number styling
Layout:
- Border Radius - Corner roundness
- Input Style - Outlined or filled
- Question Spacing - Space between questions
- Show Question Numbers - Toggle on/off
Logo Placement
Section titled “Logo Placement”Add your logo for branding:
- Upload your logo in the theme settings
- Choose Position:
- Header - Above the form title
- Left - Left side of form
- Right - Right side of form
- Set Size - Adjust logo dimensions
Preview Your Form
Section titled “Preview Your Form”Always preview before publishing:
- Click “Preview” button
- Test on mobile and desktop views
- Fill out the form as a user would
- Check branding and styling
Step 4: Configure Settings
Section titled “Step 4: Configure Settings”Form Settings
Section titled “Form Settings”Access settings panel for advanced options:
Notifications:
- Email Alerts - Get notified on each submission
- Notification Email - Where alerts are sent
- Auto-Reply - Send confirmation to respondents
Behavior:
- Show Progress Bar - For multi-page forms
- Allow Multiple Submissions - From same device
- Show “Powered by Rytinco” - Toggle branding
Completion:
- Success Message - Custom thank you message
- Redirect URL - Send users to specific page after submission
Privacy & Compliance
Section titled “Privacy & Compliance”Data Collection:
- Add privacy policy link
- Include consent checkbox
- Set data retention period
- Enable CAPTCHA if needed
Step 5: Publish Your Form
Section titled “Step 5: Publish Your Form”Publishing Options
Section titled “Publishing Options”Once your form is ready:
Direct Link:
- Click “Publish” button
- Copy the form URL
- Share via email, social media, or messaging
QR Code:
- Generate QR code from form dashboard
- Download in PNG or SVG format
- Print on flyers, posters, or business cards
Embed Code:
- Get embed code from sharing options
- Paste into your website HTML
- Form displays inline on your page
Short Link:
- Automatically created short URL (e.g., rytin.co/form-abc123)
- Easy to share verbally or in print
Making Changes
Section titled “Making Changes”Forms are dynamic - you can edit anytime:
- Navigate to Forms dashboard
- Find your form
- Click “Edit”
- Make changes
- Save - updates are live immediately
Best Practices

Section titled “Form Design Tips”Keep It Short:
- 3-5 fields for maximum completion rates
- Only ask essential information
- Use conditional logic to show relevant fields
Mobile Optimization:
- Test on actual mobile devices
- Use large touch targets (buttons, checkboxes)
- Avoid horizontal scrolling
Clear Labels:
- Use simple, clear language
- Add descriptions for complex fields
